About Us
 ACA is based near Burnley, East Lancashire, England, on the outskirts of the beautiful Pendle Witch Country, as can be seen here with full view of the world famous Pendle Hill in the background, but yet Manchester is only 30 minutes away.
Our founder and Owner, is a former Financial Director and Group Company Secretary of a number Manufacturing, Retail and Service, North West based Companies including PLC's, and formed Abacus Corporate Accountancy in 1995 to pass on the benefits of ProActive Accounting.
Having 30 years experience of the day-to-day workings of many varied companies, this gave rise to using this expertise through Abacus Corporate Accountancy to enable other Companies to have the solutions provided to many problem areas that give rise to concern.
Virtually all of the areas dealt with are concerned with the control of Company Overhead's ultimately having a positive influence on the bottom line, being Profitability.
Abacus Corporate Accountancy acts in a variety of roles for a number of East Lancashire Companies giving ProActive advice on day to day Management, Commercial, IT and Financial issues to Family owned and Corporate businesses alike.
Many of the Companies concerned do not have the required experience in-house, either through being too small or otherwise engaged in what they are good at manufacturing or selling their chosen products.
 We also conduct meetings on behalf of clients with other Supplier of Goods and Services in order to gain the optimum results to Profits of the Client using ACA Approved Service Suppliers.
Through sourcing bespoke and off the shelf computer packages for clients Abacus Corporate Accountancy as part of its Pro-Active role, has become a Sage Business Partner. SAGE is the UK's Market leader in Accounting, Payroll and ACT! CRM Products, all of these are innovative and well thought out as well as highly functional besides being very competitively priced.
As part of its Pro-Active accounting role Abacus Corporate Accountancy recommends the use of SAGE accounting, payroll products and associated support and training.
ACA has fully accredited Training provision in Sage Line 50, Sage Payroll and ACT! Products onsite or in fully fitted IT classroom facilities based in the North West of England.
During 2003 Abacus Corporate Accountancy took on a Dealer Stockist role for DELL Computers both to Commerce and the Public alike for Work, Home Office, Home and Educational use. This provides Abacus with the ability to provide the full requirements of clients from beginning to end.
